Update on Hurricane Lowell Recovery -
On 9.7.26, Kauai was impacted with a Category 2 Hurricane, severely damaging the island's West Side, South Shore and parts of our North Shore. Most of the island is open and back to regular business, while other parts are still in recovery. During your visit, we ask that you move with respect & care to the areas still coming back to life. You will see damage to our forests and coast line, but the magic of Kaua'i still remains strong. The resilience of our Community has proved our island has what it takes to overcome any natural disaster. "Kaua'i no place for wimps." |
